Thirty six Memorial Days ago...

Thirty six Memorial Days ago the winery was under construction in preparation for our first vintage. The year was 1977. The cement walls for the cellar were just about completed and the building was about to be framed up. Every couple of weeks we would call the cement truck to pour another two foot layer of cement until the walls were nine feet high.  You can see the lines where the forms overlapped right across from the tasting bar.

This memorial day weekend we are officially introducing our new Hudson Valley Cheese Plate. Thanks to all of you who have come by to sample all the cheeses and other goodies over the last few months. Based on all your feedback, we have gathered wonderful cheeses, salamis, and fresh baked breads from farms and bakeries around the valley and we are ready to put them all together for you this weekend. Delicious, wine, cheese, bread, charcuterie, a table in the sun (or shade) - life is good!

Featured Farms and Bakeries:

We have also ordered Yancey's Cheddar and Fratelli Bereta's prosciutto just be sure there is always something new for you to try.

And of course, our award winning wines are plentiful and always available.

We hope to see you!
